Valentino Feather Trimmed Satin Sandals !

I love it when shoes get a little crazy and this Valentino pair of Feather Trimmed Satin Sandals is a perfect example. The sandals themselves are nothing to write home about, being simple 4 1/2" heels in strappy khaki satin with black satin trim. But then comes the fun part: the asymmetrical black rooster feather trim that soars several inches for a floaty, fantasy effect that will surely make you the fashion maven of any party. Sadly I imagine it will be hard to wear this pair more than once or twice, as the feathers will surely take a beating even just walking around. Priced at $895 (RM 3,062).

It also has a bit of red satin trim and a bright fuschia satin lining -- what a combination of colors ! A basic zip top closure and a single internal pocket round out the basics, and of course the ribbon is the only available handle. Price is $280 (RM 958).

Compaq Airlife 100 Puts Android OS, Snapdragon CPU, And An SSD Behind 10.1-inch Touchscreen !

HP's mobile computing unit appears to have decided that the term smartbook refers to putting a smartphone's components inside a netbook's body -- which kind of makes sense -- so they've built their Airlife 100 atop an Android OS platform, underpinned by a Snapdragon CPU (unconfirmed, but highly likely), a 16 GB SSD, 3G and WiFi connectivity, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen display.

No, this isn't a call to arms (yet), the US is simply evaluating its airborne laser weapon again. Now listen in because this latest test was a doozy.
