Nexus One Succumbs To Colorware's Charms !

Colorware's out to conquer the whole gadget world, it seems, as it has now added Google's first own-brand phone to its roster. Joining such hero devices as the Nook, iPhone 3GS, every modern console and even the ocassional ThinkPad, the Nexus One will take three weeks to undergo its makeover, at a cost of $175 (RM 600) if you're supplying your own or $800 (RM 2,742) for a brand new one. Whether the results end up priceless or worthless will be entirely up to you, however, so feel free to practice on their design site (ColorWare) a bit before pulling the trigger !

World's Best Restaurant El Bulli To Close In 2012 !

2012 may not be the end of the world but it might just feel that way to some foodies. Ferran Adrià, considered to be the world's top chefs will be closing his restaurant, El Bulli in Roses, Spain for two years starting in 2012. The chef says that his schedule of 15 hours days is wearing him out and he needs time with his family. He made the announcement to a shocked crowd at Madrid Fusion, an international culinary conference.

Rusted Bugatti Fetches Three Times Above Estimated Value !

Well, of course, there’s value in classics, but as far as this rusted Bugatti go, it’s hard to swallow the fact at the first place that it’s been placed for auction. Having sat underwater at the floor of a Swiss lake for 70 years, this 1925 Bugatti Brescia known as the Lake Maggiore Bugatti carried an estimate of €70,000 to €90,000 (RM 338,000 to RM 434,000) however; the car fetched RM 1.25 Million at the Retromobile auction held by Bonhams.

Väth V63RS Takes Mercedes E-Class To 341 KM/H !

There are tuners, and then there are tuners. This, as they say, is the latter. Germany's Väth Automobiltechnik doesn't mess around, and this is their latest product. Starting with the already ludicrously fast Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, Vath proceeds to significantly modify the engine with bigger cylinders, pistons, valves, cams and intake, plus retuned engine management electronics to squeeze out an extra 87 horsepower.

China Builds A Chocolate Great Wall !

China is taking on another of the West's habits, the love of chocolate and extreme candy displays. A "chocolate wonderland" is opening in Beijing this week near the Olympic stadium. It will include elaborate chocolate displays including chocolate versions of China's famous terracotta warriors and a slice of the Great Wall of China done in chocolate bricks with white chocolate mortar.
