Not an unheard of shape for a clutch but certainly not that common either, this Gold Lotus Clutch by Lotus Arts de Vivre is made of bamboo with reinforced decorative sterling silver corners. The lotus design is hand painted by a 'celebrated Balinese artist' (they don't say who) and makes for a nice mix of gold pattern and silver hardware, which both contrast nicely against solid black.I personally love the way this bag looks but think it might be awkward to open and close if you're the sort who gets into your handbag a lot. The price is $950 (RM 3,272).
