New Mexico Gets Its First Indoor Water Park !

The Radisson Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico has given New Mexico its only indoor water park. The 30,000 square-foot indoor water park has five pool features including a 63,895-gallon lazy river and double slide plunge pool with a raft slide and tube slide, a 32,235-gallon kids' activity pool, a 12,577-gallon wading pool with play structure for younger children a 8,690-gallon indoor/outdoor adult whirlpool spa and a 57,230 gallon dual FlowRider™ Wave Rider. The 26 water play features include a super splash bucket, basketball hoops, waterfalls, spray features and inner tubes.

The water park uses the MIOX State-of-the-Art "green" water disinfection system. The facility also offers Arcadia, a family entertainment center with a video arcade, retail shops and a place to paint your own pottery. The water park opens on March 12. It's a pretty small water park by most standards but the new park is designed to attract both locals and guests from all around the southwest and may help the hotel stand out from other options in the city.
