Q by Pasquale Bejeweled Glass Slippers Will Give You A Shoe Fetish !

The fashion world’s obsession with Cinderella’s glass slippers is here to stay with glass slippers making a big comeback. And this time the celebrity cobbler Pasquale Fabrizio is playing the fairy godmother part with his limited edition glass slippers collection festooned with precious metals. Q by Pasquale is an exclusive range of handcrafted wearable glass shoes made in Murano glass and 24-carat gold.

“Travels through Italy led me to Venice and an obsession started to attach glass to a shoe,” Fabrizio says. Gold leaf is inlaid into the specially designed sole, made of specially designed glass which is more durable and unsurpassed in strength. A coil of ruby red Murano glass coils elegantly twists around the four-inche metal heel. Each shoe is embellished with gold beads to straps of leather for a bejeweled look.

No two pairs in the Couture Collection are exactly the same and they are distinguished by colorful glass. These designer slippers are a result of five years of hard work, which lands them the status of an iconic work of art for the foot. The Couture Collection is a limited run of 500 pairs of all five styles combined, including a black pair designed to celebrate the Oscars, all with acrylic soles and no shortage of blown glass embellishments.

Each pair of shoes is individually numbered and packaged in their own glass box, and accompanied by a certificate of authentication from the Italian government for a price of $7,500 (RM 25,600). And if you are based in Los Angeles, then you can own one pair, out of the first 100 of the very first edition through select group of boutiques in the Los Angeles area, so get ready to splurge.
