There aren't a lot of automakers also making motorcycles. Honda, Suzuki, Peugeot, BMW ... along with Triumph once upon a time and Yamaha dabbling in the automotive consultancy business. That just about covers it. But there are plenty churning out branded bicycles, and Bimmer's M division is the latest. The 28-pound cycle is based on a sleek aluminum frame, available in three sizes and coated in matte anthracite paint. It's topped by a leather fi'zi:k saddle with a red inlay and fitted with a Manitou Match front suspension fork, Shimano SLX gear system – what, no dual-clutch transmission ? – and disc brakes front and rear.
