To celebrate one year of existence for its flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo, Nokia’s Vertu is launching a new limited edition Vertu phone in Japan. The limited edtinion handset is available in four versions (Vertu Kinko, Vertu Kikusui, Vertu Nanten and Vertu Daigo) representing the four seasons. Each model has been hand-painted and dressed in gold, and while the textures on them look good, the overall aspect of the phones isn’t quite attractive. Reportedly, there will only be four units of the new Vertu phone made, each costing around RM 711,000.
Buyers of the RM 711,000 Vertu handsets will also be able to make free domestic calls (in Japan), but I don’t think anyone who has that much money to spend on a phone really cares about that.
