High-End Jewelers Bounce Back To Unveil Their Biggest And Best !

As high fashion and high society meet at the spectacle that is Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, it is ultimately clear that couture isn’t dead as was feared. However, after bouncing back from the worst economic crisis, a clutch of France’s most exclusive million-dollar jewelers has unveiled their biggest and best as they stage a joint bid to conquer lucrative markets in emerging nations like China.

The gathering at the Paris’s Place Vendome offered some rare high-end jewelery. Van Cleef & Arpels boutique highlighted a diamond and pink sapphire necklace evocative of a Japanese garden that took more than 3,000 hours of work was selling at 430,000 euros (RM 2.05 Million). Mellerio dits with its history dating back to 1613 flaunted its range starting from 5,000 to 500,000 euros (RM 23,800 - RM 2.38 Million).

Staging the highest quality stones, all the esteemed old houses seem optimistic about labels and stones as sure investments in times of crisis. However, amid all the “cautious optimism,” the event has been a noticeable collective shift toward lucrative markets in emerging nations.
