Marc Jacobs' Mabel Lace Miss Mark Tote !

Here's a girly tote if there ever was one. It's Marc by Marc Jacobs' Mabel Lace Miss Mark Tote, and it literally features a funky little 'girly girl' on the front. Lots of bright, crisp white make it seem spring-y, which honestly I'm more than ready for, while blues and grays make up the rest of the design that's full of florals and lacey patterns.

World's Best Restaurant El Bulli To Close In 2012 !

2012 may not be the end of the world but it might just feel that way to some foodies. Ferran Adrià, considered to be the world's top chefs will be closing his restaurant, El Bulli in Roses, Spain for two years starting in 2012. The chef says that his schedule of 15 hours days is wearing him out and he needs time with his family. He made the announcement to a shocked crowd at Madrid Fusion, an international culinary conference.

Levels of mercury in hair samples of residents of Taiji, Wakayama Prefecture, which is known for customarily eating small whales caught by coastal whaling, are about 10 times the average in Japan, possibly due to consumption of whale meat with high concentration of mercury, one of researchers who conducted the survey said Thursday.

Hair samples were collected from 30 men and 20 women living in the whaling town with a population of about 3,400 through local collaborators between December 2007 and July 2008 for testing, Tetsuya Endo, an associate professor at Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, said.
